Collection of Four Cherokee Baskets

Mid-late 20th century, unsigned, the first three in white oak with natural dyes, including two rectangular gathering baskets with oval rim and overhead handle (larger 9 1/2 x 12 x 6 3/4 in. including handle); a market basket in white oak with double loop handles (12 x 15 x 5 1/2 in.); the fourth of square form with round rim, woven in rivercane with natural dyes, and white oak overhead handle (9 x 7 x 7 1/2 in.).

Some surface staining to interior of rectangular baskets and the smaller rivercane basket; rivercane also with some loose worn areas along the rim.
