Khorasan Province, mid to 2nd half 19th c., wool on wool foundation, the midnight blue field with floral herati pattern in dark red and cream, the main red border with repeating stylized floral and foliate motifs in dark blue and cream, within multiple reciprocal and barberpole borders, with wide sections of flatweave to either end woven in a zig zag motif. With copy of appraisal.
