Vintage Punch-Hooked Rug with Dog

C. 1960-1990, wool yarn punch-hooked into burlap foundation creating a looped pile, featuring a black and white dog with red collar in a green landscape with blue sky framed with an oval scalloped border on a black field, the edges bound with black cotton binding sewn very closely under edge loops, mounted upon a sturdy wooden frame for hanging.

40 x 20 in.

One or two loose yarn ends; fading to light blue; some possible bleach spots to green; tear to paper frame backing; otherwise very good estate condition.
