Germany, sterling silver, the first a fountain pen, cap marked "Montblanc Meisterstück No. 146," 18K two-tone gold nib marked "4810, 18K, Montblanc"; the second a twist-action mechanical pencil, cap marked "Montblanc Meisterstück" and with initials "W R F"; both marked "925"; with case and box for one writing instrument.

Pen 5 5/8 in.; pencil 5 1/2 in.

Both writing instruments with some handling wear and polishing needed; the pencil with heavier wear from use including rubbing and a few small dents and scratches; the box with some residue and light handling wear; instruments not tested.
