Haudenosaunee or Iroquois Confederacy, carved stone (possibly Steatite), both signed to the underside, the smaller of a Corn Maiden (8 in.), and the taller representing the eagle "sharing its strength and power with human beings" (11 1/4 in.). Accompanying the Lot is a written conceptual description of the taller work.
