George III Inlaid Mahogany Chest on Chest

Late 18th century, mahogany, mahogany veneer, oak and pine secondary, two part form, upper case with star inlaid frieze, two over three drawers, the base with applied waist molding and having three graduated drawers all with banded inlays and inlaid stiles, scalloped skirt on straight bracket feet.

Drawer fronts with surface scraping from use; pulls are slightly offset from original holes; the three upper long drawers with veneer raised surface at lower central section from drawer construction; shrinkage cracks to case sides.
