Length 18 in.

A renowned decoy carver known for his exceptional craftsmanship. Over a career lasting six decades, he produced a variety of decoys, including eiders, black ducks, scoters, and mergansers. Wilson’s decoys featured streamlined, solid bodies with flat bottoms, carved eyes, and inletted necks. He often used scrap wood, such as old telephone poles, showcasing his resourcefulness.

Original paint, wear to tip of the bill with some wood loss on the right side, chipping to the tail.
