A Burmese Gilt Wood Carved Buddha Sculpture

Late 19th or early 20th century, Mandalay style, carved wood lacquered Buddha with gilding, inlaid glass, and mirrors, a broad band across the forehead, tight curls, his robe worn with fabric folded decoratively over the shoulder, the Buddha holds an offering bowl with removable cover in his hands, standing on a lotus base that is raised up on later square stand.
