Retailed by F. Walter Lawrence in Chicago, manufactured by Dominick & Haff in 1911, the circular tray raised on three bracket feet and featured a gadrooned edge and cutwork decoration, four removable egg cups feature cutwork quatrefoils beneath a beaded edge, with central handle, no monogram.

Walter Lawrence (American, 1864-1929) apprenticed with several noted jewelry and silver makers in Newark, NJ, and New York City beginning in 1880 when his family moved to Newark. He started his first business in Newark in 1889 and moved it to New York City in 1894. A maker of handwrought sterling flatware, holloware, and jewelry, F. Walter Lawrence also retailed sterling wares made by others and added his mark to theirs.
