Circa 1852-1859, Philadelphia, from the Bailey & Co. shop under the supervision of George Sharp, with the mark eagle/U/shield indicating coin silver standard, further marked with Bailey & Co.'s 136 Chestnut Street address, each piece of tapered and fluted cylindrical form, the coffee pot (8 3/8 in.) and sugar bowl each have a tall domed cover with cast finial in the form of a morning glory, the coffee pot with period "G" monogram.
