New York City, late 19th century, the first a gimbal table lighter with cigar cutter handle, mark of J.F. Fradley & Co., pattern number 414, period "RBR" script monogram (3 x 8 1/2 x 2 1/2 in.); the second in flask form, likely a drinking or snuff flask, mark attributed to Redlich & Co., pattern number 3764, having ornate silver acanthus motifs beneath a wavy rim and reeded handle (7 1/4 x 9 1/2 x 2 in.).
From the Estate of the late Dr. Larry Bridge, Albemarle, North Carolina Good estate condition; some nicks to the silver handle of flask; repair to one side of the flask stand.
