Includes a set of (6) Meiji period (1868-1912) plates featuring alternating foliate and architectural registers with a peach center and character mark to underside (9 1/2 in.), and a plate, 20th century, featuring a bird center, unmarked (8 1/2 in.); all with scalloped rims, underglaze blue, iron red, and polychrome decoration.
