An Unusual Louis XV Style Parquetry and Ormolu Kidney Shaped Table with Hidden Storage

Late 19th / early 20th century, king wood and mixed wood veneers, oak secondary, shaped top with pierced brass gallery having a hidden brass lever to the underside which released the top to be lifted up and locked in place to reveal to secret small conforming drawers, top and skirt with diapered floral inlays, pierced banded inlaid legs with stretcher support, finished on all sides.
