George II Mahogany Drop Leaf Dining Table

Circa 1760, oak and pine secondary, rectangular top with bowed ends, demilune drop leaves with single gate-leg support, stylized acanthus carved knees, tapered straight legs with pad feet.

28.5 x 56 x 18 in., each leaf 20 in.

Note the use of single boards for the top and leaves; retaining an Otto Zenke label to underside.

Top and leaves with old staining and surface scratches; unevenness to legs when one side is opened; two legs with break and repair at knee; later glue blocks.
