Carved wood with gesso and polychrome, glass eyes, the first of the Christ child, likely 19th century, with right hand raised in a gesture of blessing. mounted atop a later slate molding (14 x 7 x 5 in.); the second an expressive full figure representation of Mary or other female saint, 19th century or earlier, mounted atop a wooden platform base (17 x 5 3/4 x 4 1/4 in.).
