The Louis Vuitton partnership with Japenese artist Takashi Murakami began in 2000 with Marc Jacobs as the artistic director at Louis Vuitton. In 2003 they released the Monogram Multicolore, a first ever reimagination of the iconic Louis Vuitton monogram canvas. They promptly sold out of every bag in minutes, kicking off a partnership that lasted until 2014 when Marc Jacobs left the brand. Recently, the partnership has rekindled, with a 20th anniversary re-edition campaign currently ongoing.

Water spotting to leather; soiling to canvas; soiling to interior.
