The
Olympian silver pattern for Tiffany & Co. was designed by Edward C. Moore in 1878. Moore was Tiffany’s chief silver designer and a master of the Aesthetic and Renaissance Revival styles. The
Olympian pattern, introduced in 1878, was one of the most elaborate and artistic flatware patterns of the era, featuring 28 different handle designs, each depicting a scene from Greek mythology.
Moore’s design reflected his deep admiration for classical antiquity and his study of ancient Greek and Roman art, which was a hallmark of Tiffany’s silverwork during the late 19th century. The
Olympian pattern remains one of Tiffany & Co.'s most sought-after and collectible silver flatware designs.
Minor wear to gold wash; wear to masks on underside of bowl and tines.
