Silver-Plated Cake Basket with Soldiers and Hunt Motifs

Mark of Wilcox Silverplate Co., second half of 19th century, pattern number 831, featuring Roman soldiers to each corner, a swing handle with a dog affixed at the top, two doves at each end, and engraved well, and four stylized feet, without a monogram.
