The first, Cork, with provincial mark of "Whepley" in a rectangle and "Sterling", pointed end with bright cut engraved decoration to the handle and armorial monogram, and "R.C" monogram to verso (10 in.); the second, with Irish hallmarks, Dublin (1811), with "M.C." monogram (9 in.).
