Kiki Kogelnik was an Austrian painter, sculptor, and printmaker known for her vibrant, pop-influenced depictions of the human form. Born in Graz, Austria, she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna before moving to New York City in 1961. In New York, she became associated with the Pop Art movement, collaborating with artists like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. Her work often explored themes of technology, feminism, and the human body, using materials such as vinyl, ceramics, and glass.
